Chirita

This plant has very attractive yellow blooms on strong stems and are held above soft pale green leaves.

Smooth mid green leaves form a rosette from which multi-flowering stems appear. The flowers are medium sized and the leaves are small.

The thick glossy leaves alone, up to 30cms in length, make this an attractive plant. The flowers are bell like with rich pink markings on the outside of the corolla.

A multi flowering variety with mauve flowers above serrated leaves. The leaves have pronounced veining.

(Formerly known as C. Linearifolia x Sinensis) Lilac flowers with two orange bars in the base of the throat. Short narrow leaves, 12cm long, which are thick and hairy. Very floriferous.

Large violet-blue flowers up to 5cms across make this a truly stunning plant. Very floriferous with up to 25 flowers per stem. Easy to grow and well worth trying.

One of the smaller Chiritas with dark green leaves. The soft yellow flowers are held on short multi flowering stems.

Beautiful patterned lavender flowers with yellow/orange streaks in the throat. Silver and green variegated leaves on a compact plant.

A real miniature plant only recently collected in Vietnam. Similar in habit to a trailing Saintpaulia.
